Class 40 Cruise to Ireland

A unique opportunity to enjoy sailing a Class 40 to the West Country and Ireland, combining exceptional sailing, beautiful scenery and amazing wildlife.

Explore remote, beautiful harbours and rivers on the way to Ireland. A possible itinerary would be starting in Gosport, then Weymouth – Dartmouth or Salcombe – Fowey – Falmouth – finishing in Wicklow, Ireland.

The minimum qualification level for this trip is RYA Competent Crew or equivalent experience.

4th – 10th June 2016 joining at Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport and cruising to Wicklow, Ireland.

 

Join your yacht on Friday evening and after preparations and introductions we head out to en route to Ireland for 7 days. Numbers are limited to ensure that there is plenty for you to do while sailing and giving you generous living space aboard your yacht.

Your seven day sail will start from Gosport and finish near Dublin, Ireland. The planned Itinerary, subject to weather is:

Day 1 Sail to Weymouth

Day 2 Salcombe or Dartmouth

Day 3 Fowey / Falmouth

Day 4 Offshore Sailing

Day 5 Possibility of sailing to Neyland, in Pembrokeshire

Day 6 Offshore Sailing

Day 7 Arrive in Ireland

Your skipper will be one of our RYA instructors, so giving you the opportunity to learn while you sail. The crew will be hands on, fully involved in sailing a high performance yacht to some beautiful locations along the South Coast

The cost of your cruise to Ireland adventure includes accommodation on board your yacht and all food while onboard. Some evenings we eat ashore to make the most of local dishes.
